128-bit Encryption Issues

If you receive "128-bit encryption" errors with your Internet Explorer browser when trying to access Online Banking, refer to the below information.

First of all make sure your Internet browser has 128-bit encryption. In Internet Explorer, from the top menu choose Help > About Internet Explorer and see if it says 128 in the cipher-strength field. If it doesn't, here's what you'll need to do depending on your operating system:

Windows 2000, Internet Explorer browser users who've downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer but still continue to have SSL-128 Security Encryption errors, can resolve their problem by downloading either the Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack - http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/recommended/encryption/ or the Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 - http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/sp2/default.asp from the Microsoft.com site.

Non-Windows 2000, Internet Explorer browser users can resolve thier problem by downloading the regular Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/128bit/default.asp
