        Your New KeyPoint Platinum CheckCard

        Why did I receive a new check card?

        We reissued new CheckCards to provide you with enhanced security features and to offer you the new Passport Lifestyle Savings benefit. As a valued member, you receive Passport Lifestyle Savings for free. Details and advantages are listed below.

        What are the new security enhancements?

        Various security enhancements have been made including name and address verification.

        Will my old card remain active after I receive my new card?

        The old card will be deactivated when you first use your new check card -OR- within 30 days of our mailing you the new card -- whichever is sooner.

        Will my electronic debit authorizations continue to work with the new card?

        You will need to provide existing electronic debit payees with your new card information. Please do this upon first use of the card -OR- within 30 days of mailing you the new card, whichever is sooner.

        What happens if I do not provide my electronic debit payees with my new card information?

        If you do not provide your electronic debit payees with your new card information, your electronic debit authorizations will not be processed.

        Will my PIN change?

        Yes. We will send your new Personal Identification Number (PIN) in a separate mailing. Expect to receive it one to three business days after you receive your new check card.

        What if I have not received my new PIN?

        If you do not receive your PIN within about five business days, please call our 24/7 Telephone Center at 888-255-3637 or chat with a live representative when you visit us online.

        Can I keep the same PIN?

        Due to the security upgrades, we must provide you with a new PIN that you can customize by visiting one of our branch locations.

        KeyPoint Credit Union has partnered with Passport Unlimited to bring you savings and discounts at hundreds of participating retailers and restaurants around town and online.

        What are the benefits of the Platinum Passport CheckCard program?

        Your Check Card benefits are as follows:

        • FREE to our members
        • Use wherever VISA® is accepted
        • Entitles you to discounts at hundreds of local and national retailers
        • Discounts applied automatically at time of purchase
        • Your card can be used for purchases online
        • New merchants are updated continuously
        • List of merchants can be viewed online at any time by visiting www.keypointcu.passportlifestyle.com

        Is there a fee to use this program?

        No. There is no fee associated with this program. Of course, members are responsible for the cost of the goods and services they purchase through the program.

        Who is eligible to use this program?

        The Platinum Passport CheckCard is available to all domestic KeyPoint members with a checking account in good standing. Members with an international address will receive a standard KeyPoint CheckCard with the new security enhancements. Currently the Passport Lifestyle Savings program is not available abroad.

        How do I start using the Passport Lifestyle Savings benefit?

        It’s simple. The program can be easily activated by visiting www.keypointcu.passportlifestyle.com and registering your check card.

        • Click on the “First time user? Register your profile here” link
        • After this quick one time registration process you will have access to the benefit site where you can view the thousands of incredible restaurants and merchant offerings available to you with this program.

        What if I do not register my card?

        If you do not register your card, you will not have access to view the restaurant and merchant offers available to you with this program.

        How do I get another Platinum Passport CheckCard?

        Only one card can be issued per member. However, if you would like an additional card for someone else, you may add them as a joint member on your account OR refer them to open a new account of their own that will allow them to take advantage of the many Passport discounts.

        What if my Passport CheckCard is lost or stolen?

        If you have lost your KeyPoint check card, please contact us immediately to report the loss and request a replacement card. Please contact us using one of the following:

        How do I request a Platinum Passport CheckCard?

        When you open a checking account with KeyPoint Credit Union, you will automatically receive one.

        Where I live, there are not many participating retailers and restaurants. What can I do?

        Passport is constantly looking to expand their program. If you know of any in your area that might be interested in offering a discount to Credit Union members, please email your suggestions to support@passportunlimited.com.

        Online and Local Vendor Discounts

        How are my online discounts applied?

        Participating e-commerce vendors are listed throughout the www.keypointcu.passportlifestyle.com site. When you click on a link to any participating e-commerce vendor, instructions for savings will be presented to you in a frame in the upper portion of your screen. Some vendors require that you enter a membership code during checkout; others apply the discount automatically. Simply follow the vendor instructions for savings!

        How do I use the card at local businesses?

        When visiting participating local businesses, simply present your KeyPoint Platinum CheckCard before completing your transaction. Your discount will be applied at the point of sale.

        Passport Unlimited Dining Discounts

        What is a Passport Unlimited restaurant?

        One of the great benefits of your KeyPoint Platinum CheckCard is the discounts provided at participating restaurants. When dining with a guest, your second adult entrée is complimentary.

        How do I identify participating restaurants?

        A complete list of participating restaurants can be found on www.keypointcu.passportlifestyle.com ; simply click on ‘Restaurants’ in the left hand navigation bar.

        How do I use the card at Passport Unlimited restaurants?

        When using the KeyPoint Platinum CheckCard at participating restaurants simply follow these steps:

        • Present your CheckCard with the final bill that the server will bring you at the end of your meal.
        • Your discount will be discreetly deducted from your bill.
        • In order to preserve goodwill with our participating restaurants, we ask you tip on the original amount of the bill, before any deductions.

        Are there any restrictions on restaurant use?

        You may use the restaurant discounts as often as you like. However, the restaurant offer is subject to the following terms and conditions:

        • The lowest priced adult entrée in the party (2 or more people) is compliments of the restaurant.
        • Valid any day for lunch or dinner except recognized holidays or any special day a restaurant observes as a holiday, e.g. New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.
        • A minimum of one entrée per person in your party must be ordered. An appetizer may be considered an entrée only if an entrée is purchased (entrée may not be split).
        • If a party of four or more presents (2) Passport cards, the two lowest priced entrees will be compliments of the restaurant. This includes when separate checks are issued. A maximum of two (2) cards per party may be used at any one time. Passport is not valid with any other promotion or discount.
        • On multiple course meals the entrée portion only will be compliments of the restaurant. The deduction will be the full value of the entrée as listed in the a la carte or dinner section of the menu.
        • When ordering Brunch, Buffets, and all-inclusive multi-course family style dinners, your discount will be 75% off the second meal.
        • Not valid for alcohol, desserts, gift certificates, carry out or promotional non-published menu items at certain restaurants.
