Helping Our Neighbors
KeyPoint Credit Union exists to improve the lives of people. We were founded to fulfill that mission, and it remains the guiding principle of our daily operations. One important way we embrace this philosophy is by investing in our communities through participation in ongoing projects and programs. While the organizations we support may vary from year to year, our commitment to making a positive impact in the community never wavers.
|Some of our current community projects include:
|Habitat for Humanity
||For several years, KeyPoint Credit Union employees have invested a day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for families in need. Volunteers work side by side with the families that will live in each completed house. Learn more about Habitat for Humanity and how to volunteer.
|United States Marines Toys For Tots Program
||Every November and December, we place donation bins in our branches and invite employees and members to donate toys to children of all faiths who are in need. Members of the U.S. Marine Corps collect the toys and distribute them in time for the holidays. Learn more about Toys for Tots and how you can help.
|Thanksgiving Food Drive
||In November, we sponsor a food drive for community food banks, inviting employees and members to donate non-perishable food in collection bins in KeyPoint Credit Union branches. The food is distributed to families in need in time for Thanksgiving.
|Child Advocates of Silicon Valley
||This worthwhile organization supports children in the foster care system, advocating on behalf of minors to help them get the care and services they need. KeyPoint Credit Union supports this important work by providing resources to help train and certify the Advocates. Learn more and find out how you can help.
||We are pleased to support the United Way throughout the year with volunteerism and ongoing donations from our Help Fund.
|Community Celebrations and Events
||Throughout the year, KeyPoint Credit Union maintains a strong presence at many local events and festivals, supporting the communities we serve. For a list of our upcoming community events, visit our Seminars & Events section.
