KeyPoint CU hosts Financial Literacy Day for the Milpitas Unified School District
MILPITAS, Ca. – A total of one hundred twenty seventh and eighth grade students from the MilpitasUnified School District attended the Financial Literacy Day hosted by KeyPoint Credit Union at Rancho Milpitas Middle School.
A team of KeyPoint staff developed and taught curriculum on various topics in tandem with local educators. Some of thetopics that covered include: Introduction to Money Management, Accounts, Financial Institutions, Budgeting, Introduction toInvesting and How to Prevent Identity Theft. Students in attendance stated that they had a better understanding ofimportant financial concepts after the Financial Literacy Day.
