SANTA CLARA, Ca. – (March 5, 2010) – A total of eleven Apple iMac computers with mouse and keyboard were donated to the Milpitas Unified School District by KeyPoint Credit Union. Ten of these computers were delivered to the MUSD on February 5th. The eleventh computer was presented on February 25th to officials of the Milpitas Unified School District during the Milpitas Chamber Mixer hosted by KeyPoint Credit Union at their Milpitas Town Center branch where there were over 60 business and community leaders in attendance.
Opening remarks were made by KeyPoint Credit Union’s Director of Business Development, Doron Noyman. He stated that “KeyPoint Credit Union exists to improve the lives of people by investing in the local communities through participation in ongoing projects and programs. Everything we do is aimed at serving our members and local communities.” Doron then took this opportunity to introduce the MUSD officials in attendance and made presentation of the eleventh Apple iMac computer to the school district.
These computers will be used for student assessment and as instructional tools in the MUSD Child Development Centers. Richard Rose, Director of Technology Services for the Milpitas Unified School District, stated that “these computers will be used to enhance the education of our students.
