KeyPoint Credit Union's 1st Annual Car Show

SANTA CLARA, Ca. – (October 2009) – Fifty-five classic beauties, muscle cars, hot rods, and works-in-progress were on view at the 1st Annual KeyPoint Credit Union Car Show on October 10th. This was a free, fun-in-the-sun event for over 500 attendees comprised of both members and non-members at the credit union’s Santa Clara headquarters.

The primary purpose of the car show was to give back to the Santa Clara Unified School District for the Teacher’s Free School Supply Sale. “We’re trying to get more involved in the community for a good cause such as our local schools,” states Doron Noyman, KeyPoint Director of Sales and Business Development.   The price of admission to the car show was school supplies. Julianne Topliff, Education Partnerships Coordinator for the Santa Clara Unified School District, was on hand to collect the donations — there were enough boxes loaded with notebooks, glue, lined paper, 300 pencil packs from KeyPoint CU and backpacks to fill a van.

“We are looking forward to an even bigger 2nd Annual KeyPoint Credit Union Car Show next year,” stated Jeff Peabody the
Vice-President of Marketing and Business Development.
