Santa Clara, CA, June 9, 2006- Just as more and more high-tech workers move to the East Bay, one local credit union is doing likewise. KeyPoint Credit Union, who has been serving the Silicon Valley for over 25 years, has announced that it is joining forces with Livermore-based West One Federal Credit Union. Both organizations serve high-tech members in the Silicon Valley and beyond. This partnership means that KeyPoint CU will add the West One branches located in Pleasanton and Concord to their other 7 proprietary branches and over 2,100 shared branches. KeyPoint Credit Union currently serves over 70,000 high tech members and has assets of approximately $700 million. Fifty year old West One Federal Credit Union, with over 6,000 members and approximately $70 million in assets, will receive all of the added resources that KeyPoint CU brings to the table upon completion of this union.
